I've been photographing this pier for years. People often ask if it ever gets boring. The honest answer is no. The tide rises and falls, waves form and break, surfers jockey for position to ride them, the light changes, clouds change. The scene is always in a state of change. It's a gentle reminder of impermanence and to take time to truly appreciate the beauty that surround us.
