This shot was taken from a custom drone that I was flying from the beach. The camera is just an Xiaomi Yi action cam so the resolution isn't that great but I was pleased with the good result just on auto settings.Time
This was taken around sunrise during winter so approx 7:15amLighting
This particular morning had some lovely light clouds that illuminated the sunrise and created a nice effect.Equipment
The camera is a Xiaomi Yi action camera but I was surprised at the decent quality. It was attached to a drone that I built and used for aerial photos. The settings were on auto but the image was taken at f/2.8, 1/480sec and ISO 140Inspiration
I saw a couple of people walking along the beach and thought they would add some scale to this lovely sunrise.Editing
Slightly adjusted the exposure, highlights, whites/blacks and white balance to get the look I wanted but because this wasn't a RAW file the adjustments were only slight.In my camera bag
This was taken before I got into photography and at that stage all I had was a cheap action camera. Now I have a Fuji X-H1, a tripod and a couple of lenses so I have started to take photography more seriously.Feedback
I am still learning so don't have any advise. But the more you practice and take photos, the more you learn and the better you get.
