Three Sisters

Looking out the window of the plane as the sun begins to rise over the Rockies, the smoke from the forest fires wafts over the peaks and valleys.

Adorable chipmunk kept watching me shoot pictures at Lake Minnewanka, he was too cute not to take a picture of.

Driving around in thick fog past a snowy ice covered lake, this peninsula appeared out of the fog with a lone tree on it... I thought it was stunning.

Location

This photo was taken in my backyard in Eastern Ontario. I grew up here with my grandparents .. this place holds my heart...

Time

This was taken in the late afternoon after the rain..

Lighting

Late afternoon after a rainstorm...the fall colours were deep and rich against the clouds

Equipment

Nikon D7100 with a 140mm lens.

Inspiration

I love the fall colours in Ontario and I loved the way they mirrored on the lake

Editing

The only processing I do is changing my Raw files to JPG.
