The photo was taken in Moscow, Russia. Photography for me, an amateur, is a source of peace and solace I find every time I pick up a camera. It is also a great learning tool, challenging at times, but rewarding!Time
It was October 3, 2019, around 12:30 pm (local time), when I finally had an opportunity to just grab my camera and to chase the beauty of fast-fading Fall in one of the largest parks in Moscow, the Biryulyovo Dendropark.Lighting
I wish there were more light that day, but hey, beggars can't be choosers, right? :) I was lucky it was not raining or snowing, and I could point my camera upwards, parallel to the sky.Equipment
It was shot with SONY NEX-5, Sony E 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 OSS, ISO 200, 18mm, -0.7 ev, ƒ/5, 1/1600Inspiration
Nature's beauty, its colors, its magic inspires my life daily.Editing
I used Lightroom to bring some details up in shadows and to adjust the colors to what I actually saw and felt in the park.In my camera bag
I just have my SONY NEX-5 camera with two kit lenses, 18-55 and 55-210 mm plus a set of four batteries.Feedback
To give this shot a wider angle, feel free to get as close to the ground as possible. I wish I could just lay down on my back to have more flexibility and control of the camera. I was afraid to be misunderstood (and stepped on) by my fellow Moscovites enjoying their strolls in the park :)
