Behind The Lens
Location
the picture was taken in bridgnorth uk. The train is part of the Severn Valley Railway.Time
Was taken late afternoon just after 5pm. It's very rare i use a tripod. Majority of my photo's are hand held.Lighting
Was a nice sunny day in november. There was a lot of tree's and bushes. But i seem to of been in a good spot with good natural light.Equipment
There was no tripod i take mostly hand held shots. My camera is a Nikon D7000. The lens i was using is a Tamron 18-270mm. Shot at ISO 160, shutter 1/160 sec, F/ 4.5, at 46mm.Inspiration
Was out getting landscape shot's. This came along so i took the chance. Just thought would make a nice picture. Guess i was in the right place at the right time.Editing
Yes i normally only crop the image to bring the subject closer. Vary rare i do more than this. I use lightroom classic. In my camera bag
My bag dosen't consist of a lot. Standard is my D7000 with my Tamron 18-400mm lens already attached. Upgraded lens from the Tamron 18-270mm. A cleaning cloth for the lens. A microfibre cloth for cleaning and drying the camera and outer body of lens if i need to. Plus 2 spare memory cards which as of yet not needed as the camera uses 2 memory cards. A notebook and a pen.Feedback
Simple you see something you like take the picture. If it works out for you brilliant. If it don't just keep trying never give up. I never spend ages looking for ideal place to take shots. I just walk around till i see something i like. Then i take the shot. Check it if looks ok then i'll move on if not i'll change settings how i think i need to then try again. But i never quit. I'm no professional i'm just a complete amature. I learn as i go, never took any photography lessons. Plenty of information online free of charge.
