With the dawn of a New Year we have a tenancy to look back over the previous 12 months.

Reflect on what has happened on our own and our families journey.

I've spent the evening looking through photos with the intention of compiling a video highlight reel.

Instead I've found myself reliving every moment. The sights, sounds and smells. Each photo taking me back to the moment it was taken.

Take this one for example.

It was a warm September day. Little Miss OMG had been playing with her brothers and wanted a rest.

Rather than come inside she lay on the bench in the front yard. Her trusty blankie with her.

No amount of persuasion was getting her inside to lie on the couch.

Then she said take a picture of me.

So I did.

From above. No props, no filter no pose.

Just her lying on the bench watching the clouds float by overhead.

I've changed it to Black and White which enhances it I think.

All being well the same time this year she'll be a few weeks into her first year of Primary School.

Hard to believe in just over 4 weeks she will be four years old!
