This little fox kit was exploring the area around its den in my friends garden which is in the city of Toronto, Ontario CanadaTime
It was taken around 11.00 in the morning just after the mother had come back from a hunting trip. She would feed them and stay around and play with them before shooing them back into one of the den holes and setting off on another huntLighting
The lighting was usually very dark due to the placement of the den holes of which there was three and the over head tree canopy.Equipment

I spent many many days photographing these foxes growing from babies with blue eyes to the time when they were as big as the mother. I never once saw another adult due to where they were he may have been killed by a car. The antics as they grew up was fascinating to watch, this shot was taken as it watched a bird feeding on the bird feeder in the garden.Editing
I did the usual adjustments you have to do to a raw file contrast, clarity, saturation, shadows, highlights, sharpening and noise reduction.In my camera bag
