I took this photo of what's known as " the spite house" at Plum Island in Newburyport Massachusetts.Time
I took this photo on a mid Sundays afternoon 3pm.Lighting
I didn't do anything special for lighting in this picture. I just wanted the viewer's attention to be drawn immediately to that beautiful, intriguing pink house.Equipment
I used my Nikon 3200 with the 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
I was on my way to the Parker River Wildlife Refuge to look for snowy owls . When I saw the way the pink house looked against that beautiful blue sky I just couldn't let the opportunity to freeze it in time forever pass me by.Editing
I took the photo off my Nikon & transferred it to my cellphone. I used the Snapseed editing app to brighten it up alittle.In my camera bag
My Nikon 3200 & both my 18-55mm & 70-300mm lenses. 3 fully charged batteries and my tripod.Feedback
Plum Island is full of photo opportunities. The Spite House is just one of so many intriguing things to see. Be prepared to spend several hours exploring this beautiful area.
