Another attempt at long exposure of this shot today, turned out a better I think, used an 8 and 4 lens filter and later in the day.

Behind The Lens

Location

Taken September 2019 at the Watkins Glen gorge N.Y. a glorious trail that has many waterfalls that flow into Seneca lake.

Time

If I remember correctly this was taken sometime around 6pm so as not to catch too much sunlight

Lighting

The sun had begun to go down but still enough light to shine through the trees and show up stone in decent detail

Equipment

Shot on a Nikon D3500, on a tripod, aperture 100/10, shutter 250/10, focal length of 550/10 using a D8 and D4 filter.

Inspiration

Simply the beauty of the spot

Editing

Enhanced a little using psp to try and bring out the true colour of the stone.

In my camera bag

Nikon D3500 along with a 70-300mm lens and 18-55mm lens, various lenses for long exposure, clothes and a muse.

Feedback

This was my second attempt at long exposure...took the shoot with various lenses and various spots...for an amateur photographer this isn't easy to capture but just keep shooting until you get what you're hoping for
