Hi..We are having a very hard time getting the food for the animals. If anyone would like to sponsor a dog or cat or send a one time donation it would be greatly appreciated. These animals give unconditional love and they deserve the best care we can give them. They are also therapy dogs and cats and are changing lives of special needs children forever. I came upon a story a few months back that involved a prison program and undesirable K-9s. The story went introduced the K-9s as unfit and this program was the last chance for them. If you ever have seen the program "The Dog Whisper" you would have seen him on the program as advisor and trainer for the prisoners who were a part of the program. The program is a win win for all. You may find it through google, if this interest you. lol

I ran across an article in Corrections Today. Washington state has picked up this program at a woman' facility. Was intrigued with the kennel layout and the training and certification process these people have to complete and pass in order to participate.
