Antibes, South of France Taken Sat 3rd Aug 2019
Yes, I am still editing my France holidays from August, simply have no time at present and squeezing in editing where I can. Here are a handful from beautiful Antibes, I shall never tire of this stunning town.
With sculptures exhibition from artist David David:
"David David meets you in Antibes for the presentation of his Open Sky Monuments.
The Port of Antibes, its ramparts and the exhibition hall of Arcades welcome from June 28 to September 22, 2019 its giant sculptures.
David David is a sculptor artist from Nancy. He lives and works in the south of France today, from his studio in Vallauris. His work is timeless and atypical, with an amused look at the world and art. The artist revealed himself with his Head in Art , a silhouette of a man with his head buried in a paint pot. Autobiographical? Without a doubt !
After much of Europe, his colorful sculptures today appeal to the United States, Asia and the United Arab Emirates. It was time for him to dedicate an exhibition in the south of France where he is established. After Cannes, it is the turn of Antibes to welcome his works. And not just any, since they will be monumental and many unique sculptures have been made especially for this ephemeral exhibition from June 28 to September 22, 2019."
