Location
It was taken in southern Wyoming. It was taken while scouting for deer and elk.Time
It was probably about mid morning by the lightning. This photo was taken a few years ago. I’m guessing by the lightning only because I’ve been on a lot of dirt roads that look like this.Lighting
It is odd lighting anytime of day. Plus the trees distort the light. Depending where you stand the lightning could differ.Equipment
Honestly it was taken on an iPhone. When you scout you take pictures with what is in your hand. Probably why I have a huge number in my cloud.Inspiration
The colors, the lines, and the sheer beauty of fall in Wyoming.Editing
I adjusted the lightning slightly and the was it.In my camera bag
I use my iPhone. I have a Cannon Rebel T3I, and T6I. I have a basic 18-55mm. I have a 10-22mm. I also have a 18-135mm and 55-250mm. All these lenses are cannon brand.Feedback
Shoot from the heart for one. I always say Wyoming is the best kept secret. You don’t have to be a genius to take a great picture, but you do have to know what beauty is. This photo I know was truly a photo of quick taking. My advice keep your eye out and keep some kind of camera on you. Watch the lightning it could be slightly darker depending on what time of day. Have fun. Trees in line can make for fun photos.
