Behind The Lens

Location

At this nature preserve right by my house.

Time

Sometime in the late afternoon.

Lighting

I used the natural sunlight.

Equipment

Shot this on my iPhone XR when I recently got it and I was playing with the camera, seeing how good of pictures I can get of out it and didn’t expect them to come out as well as they did.

Inspiration

I just thought the gecko looked really cool and loved the colors on him so I thought I’d get a picture of him and I was able to get a really close up photo without him running off.

Editing

I used the photoshop app on my phone to edit my photo, added the border, adjusted the levels for the light, contrast, sharpness. Sharpened the image and put a blur around his had to make his face stand out even more. Also added text for my watermark.

In my camera bag

I didn’t have my equipment with my because I was using just my phone, but normally what’s in my camera bag is my Nikon D5200, but I have an external flash attachment in my bag for now.

Feedback

Don’t expect to get something just go out and see what interests you, I didn’t have a plan on taking photos and editing them to be posted here I just decided I wanted to go to the nature preserve to walk around and I saw some things I thought would be a great photo and took some shots off my phone because I loved the way it looked. Nothing planned just saw something neat and wanted to have a picture for myself. So just do what comes natural.
