Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken just at sunset at the famous Sant Joan castle in the pretty Catalan coastal town of Blanes

Time

It was summer and it would be around 9:30pm

Lighting

The slightly cloudy sky and the street lights as well as a good tripod and an open lens did the job.

Equipment

My camera on this day; a Canon M5, with a 10-18mm wide angle and normal tripod

Inspiration

The peace and tranquility that was seen and breathed at this time of day and the different shades of colors

Editing

Just touch the saturation a bit and lower shadows

In my camera bag

It depends on where I go, but I always carry my small and reliable Canon M5 and the larger Canon RP, in this one the all-rounder 24-105 mm and in the M5 I like to vary depending on what I photograph, from the 10-18mm, to the 22mm to 50mm for portrait.

Feedback

Inspiration, valuing the beauty of the moment and the time of day is the key in any landscape
