Behind The Lens

Location
This picture was taken in Miami, Florida, close to Wynwood to be precise.
Time
This picture was waken at dusk.
Lighting
The daylight was dimming and fading away, when the stores start to light up the streets.
Equipment
I travel with my Nikon D5600, I used a f1/8 on a 50mm prime lens.
Inspiration
When I saw the bulb lighting up in contrast with the skylight, it caught my attention
Editing
I used Lightroom to bring up some colors an focus the attention on the bulb. I recommend to used the color temperature slider when you have two different temperatures on the frame, so you can get a proper balance between both ends.
In my camera bag
I always travel with a Manfrotto attached to my bag, you never know when are you going to use it (actually that evening I did). My lenses are normally 55-300mm a 50mm prime and a 35mm prime. Polarized filters are always in the backpack alongside a couple of faded ND and a transitional ND for the 50mm.
Feedback
I totally recommend look for situations where the light is smooth. The dusk is a beautiful time of the day, but also a very small window, that's why you should always look for situation in advance, and wait for the right time to take the shot.
