Location
This photo was taken at a friends house. His dad has hand made welded art all along the driveway. This truck has sat there for the last 40 or 50 years. I've passed by several times & one day I was determined to get the perfect shot of this truck.Time
This shot was taken probably around 5 pm. We had stopped to visit for a minute & I asked permission to take a few shots of the truck.Lighting
I have no rules on lighting , as terrible as it sounds, I see the shot & take it & I keep taking shots until I think I have the perfect photo.Equipment
I'm not your ordinary photographer, I usually only am equipped with my cell phone. Actually this photo was taken from my car with a Samsung S10e phone.Inspiration
I love the look of these rusty old trucks. I imagine there are stories to be told from past owners. Plus there was the tree growing in the back of the truck, proving nature will always take back what man created.Editing
I'm not one to use filters. Mostly what you see is what you get. I figure if you are going to use filters to turn a photograph into a painting why not just hire a painter? In my camera bag
I'm the world's most unprepared photographer! And isn't it usually how it goes, you find the perfect shot & all you have on you is a cell phone?Feedback
I imagine a frame around the picture I'm trying to capture. Does it look like something I would love to have on my wall in my home? Is it the perfect shot for you?
