Behind The Lens
Location
I was working in my landlords garden, and this butterfly initially landed on my hand. I had my camera handy (Canon Rebel T3) so i followed the butterfly around the yard for a moment or two. when it landed i switched to the macro setting and snapped away. It almost seemed like the butterfly was posing for me.Time
it was after lunch. not sure of the exact time though.Lighting
the lighting was natural sunlight, coming from approx 45 deg from the rightEquipment
i did not use a pod. i simply lay on the ground and took the shot. the camera i use is a Canon Rebel T3, with a standard lens in macro mode.Inspiration
i like to think of myself as an artistic photographer. i enjoy nature and all of its aspects.Editing
i cropped the image and put a little contrast to it. re-cropped and re-contrasted. the program i use is Picasa 3In my camera bag
i keep several filters, ND, UV, Circular Polarizer. i also keep a quality cleaning kit with me. standard lens and long zoom lens, as well as 2 different wide angle, macro lenses.Feedback
