Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken during a difficult family time. We had taken a weekend away to distance ourselves from the issue and next to our lodge was this old and dilapidated swing. The chain was expressing my sense at the time.

Time

It was early afternoon around Loch Lomond

Lighting

It was a typical cloudy Scottish day

Equipment

Nikon d610 with 18-80mm f2.8 sigma lens

Inspiration

My fascination with dilapidated human structure that have been left to their own devices

Editing

I just improved the contrast

In my camera bag

My Nikon with an 18-80mm f2.8, a 50mm F1.4 Nikon prime and my beloved 8mm fisheye

Feedback

Just try to see surroundings through your own eye of the soul and try to capture that feeling
