Location
This photo was taken on a backroad in Breathitt County, Kentucky. I was out driving and stopped in the middle of the road. I heard water falling and walked over to see and there it was just waiting for me.Time
This is one of my all time favorite photos. It was in the evening around 4:00 on a Sunday.Lighting
The light was perfect it was an over cast day making the color beautiful.Equipment
I was using my Canon D7 with my 24-70mm L Series Lens. I don’t use a tripod I want my camera in my hand.Inspiration
The colors of the Fall Foliage is the most beautiful sight in Kentucky. I was out driving around looking for opportunities to photograph and this one just presented itself when I stopped and got out of my car.Editing
I took several pictures with different f stops settings and chose this photo.In my camera bag
I always carry my Canon 24-70 and 100mm both L Series Lenses. These are my most used and don’t usually need anything else.Feedback
Waterfalls are beautiful to photograph. I take several different photos changing the setting till I get exactly what I am looking for.
