Location
On a walkabout in my neighborhood in a neighbors backyard. They were very large and in full sun.Time
The time of day was around 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon.Lighting
I tried to get the full sun on the flower to bring out the best of the different shades of yellow and subtle color of greens.Equipment
Very simple, my Samsung phone.Inspiration
Just the flower itself and I had ideas how I wanted to manipulate it.Editing
I put it through Photo Shop, cropped it and brightened the yellow a small amount.In my camera bag
Like I mentioned earlier, all I have right now is a Samsung phone. I only wish I had a camera and lenses.Feedback
I always visually walk around my subject looking at different angles snapping photos but don't spend too much time or it takes forever deleting the ones you don't want. You usually take 6-16 and you end up with the one or two you like.
