Location
This shot was taken on a road trip around Tasmania. My wife and I took a side trip to Ross, just off the main road, and discovered an old village-like community - something just out of England. A walk around happened on this old bridge and the reflections just took my eye.Time
This was a late morning shot so the light was fairly accommodating.Lighting
The clear blue sky, reflected in he still water complemented the sandstone structure and nothing more was required.Equipment
This was from a hand-held Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ41, a compact but great little camera!Inspiration
I am always on the lookout for quirky shots and the reflections here were just amazing.Editing
Simply cropping to get the best shot. In retrospect I needed something in the immediate foreground - perhaps some water reeds or similar. It’s always easy to say this after the event though! In my camera bag
At this stage I simply had the Panasonic LUMIX. I now own a Canon 200D II with an EFS 18-55 mm lens and a 55-250 mm lens plus tripod. As a very amateur part-time photographer I just have the basics.Feedback
Just be on the lookout for the unusual, and peep around each corner as you never know what is there.
