Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at my apartment in. My niece had recently gifted me the cellphone and I decided to take my first selfie with it's camera. As soon as I got to my mother's home I showed my selfie and they loved it. I was my worst critic so I decided to crop the photo and used a black and white app. I left the eyes but decided to try an eye color app just for fun. I tried every color available but the one that caught my attention was the gray eye color.

Time

I believe it was in the morning. I was getting ready to go to my mother's home because I was her caretaker.

Lighting

Direct sunlight through the window.

Equipment

I used my cellphone camera and a couple of apps.

Inspiration

I had taken a selfie with a regular camera years before on Halloween but it was time to try it with the cellphone's camera.

Editing

When I take photos of landscapes I usually take a few shots and see which one looks best. I just took one selfie and played around with the apps.

In my camera bag

I always carried a camera in my purse. But since I received my cellphone I haven't used my camera. I will start to use my camera again this summer.
