Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken at Gateway of India, Mumbai!

Time

This is a handheld shot taken during the noon time of the day.

Lighting

The light was very harsh at that time, so I tweaked the highlights and shadows in post processing.

Equipment

This shot was taken on 2 devices, Oneplus 6 and Canon 80D with 18-135 mm lens mounted on it. It was very hard to manage the light at both but through proper post processing, I managed it in the right way.

Inspiration

I wanted to show Gateway of India through a different perspective, that is what motivated me to edit it in a way of loop.

Editing

Yes, first I tweaked the picture tones on Adobe Lightroom, Then I edited it on Adobe Photoshop by managing different layers to create a loop and finally tweaked the tones of final picture again to match everything perfectly.

In my camera bag

I usually Carry my cellphone Oneplus6, My camera Canon 80D with lens 24mm f2.8 and 18-135mm kit lens and a manfrotto tabletop tripod.

Feedback

Shoot the pictures at the time of golden hour. Avoid shooting in harsh light. Make sure to keep the frame completely in focus and shoot at low aperture. By basic knowledge of masking the layers on photoshop this loop effect can be created.
