I saw him coming from under the bridge I was standing on. I was hoping to snap a shot of him coming from the under bridge on the other side but he started to turn around to go back the direction he just came. I had my camera ready when saw me and paused for a moment so I could snap his picture.

This photo was taken in Hoi An, Vietnam.Time
This was right after the sun came up.Lighting
We woke up early to capture sunrise pictures. One of the great things about being awake at those early morning hours is that the lighting is always nice.Equipment

As we were walking over a bridge, I saw this man approaching the bridge. I positioned myself on the other side to capture him as he came out from underneath the bridge. I thought it would make a nice composition. But at some point under the bridge, the man decided to make a u-turn so as he came back into my view from under the bridge, he was positioned in this angle. He spotted me with my camera, looked up at me, and posed while I took his photograph. He seemed to enjoy being the subject of my interest.Editing

I recently upgraded to a Canon 6D but this photo was taken with a Canon Rebel T3i. I have a 50 mm lens and a variety of zoom lens.Feedback
Have patience and be flexible. This wasn't the initial photograph that I envisioned when I first decided to photograph the man. But instead of giving up when I noticed he had changed positions, I just went with it. Turns out it made a better photograph than the one I envisioned.
