At the Shedd Aquarium, this polar bear locked eyes with my daughter and they interacted, looking straight at each other for several minutes before going up for air. It was very endearing. My daughter said that she had made a friend. I'm not sure if the bear was being truly playful or just trying to figure out a way to get through the glass and eat her. :-)
