Location
On a trip to The Adelaide Zoo in South Australia I was able to observe this Lemur enjoying his or her treats. I love just about anything to do with nature so I try and capture what I can when I get the opportunity.Time
It was mid day, 12:46 to be exact, Jan. 19, 2019 middle of summer. Nice day, not too hot with a few clouds about keeping the sun at bay creating pockets of shade here and there.Lighting
Natural lighting with white balance manually set but can't remember if I used sunny or clouds.Equipment
Shot on a Nikon D7200 handheld. Lens was a Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR. Shot on manual, 1/250, f/5.3, 220mm, ISO 320 with centre weighted average metering.Inspiration
I don't need much inspiration when shooting nature be it animals or landscapes.Editing
I do some post processing as my picture control is usually set to standard. I mostly use Lightroom and just make the adjustments I feel the photo needs to recreate what I was seeing at the time.In my camera bag
My bag contains my D7200 a 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6, 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens that came with the camera, 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6, 40mm f/2.8 Micro and a 35mm f/1.8. All DX. Filters, CPL and ND up to 10 stops. Nikon SB-700 Speedlight. Manfrotto 290XTRA tripod. Wired and wireless remotes.Feedback
Enjoy your photography, I'm not a professional so I do a lot of experimentation. One thing I love about photography is that I never stop learning.
