Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Sioux Falls, SD.

Time

This is one of my favorite spots to stop on our way out west.

Lighting

It was a beautiful sunny day, which made it difficult to soften the water. I wanted to show the beauty of that section of the falls because it seems almost forgotten next to the major section of falls.

Equipment

I took this picture with a Canon T6i camera using an EFS 18-55mm lens. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

I am inspired by waterfalls and how they have a unique way of finding their own path in life!

Editing

I didn't do a lot of post processing. I did need to adjust the brightness and contrast.

In my camera bag

My camera is like a second child, for me, so I always have it with. In my bag I carry both my 18-55mm lens and my 55-250mm lens.

Feedback

When it comes to capturing this waterfall, it can take on many different faces. It will be raging after a hard rain or relaxing on a normal day.
