I took this photo in Austria when I was with my family visiting the city Graz. We went for the evening to see Eggenberg Palace, Graz. A beautiful baroque palace with great views around it.Time
This surely is one of my favorites photos that I ever took. It was taken in the evening, really moody weather, with a lot of rain and clouds that were coming done from the sky and created a really mysterious mist.Lighting
The light was only the sun peeking through the clouds, really faded. I wanted to draw attention to the fog. I love foggy weather.Equipment
It was shot on a SONY - DSC-HX400V, with a lens ZEISS® Vario Sonnar® T* Lens. No other equipment used.Inspiration
I love taking pictures to nature getting eaten up by fog. It really makes it look more mysterious and makes excited what a little or a lot of mist can do.Editing
I got excited by the view and the fog and didn't take a second to adjust, so I took the picture without realizing it. I was focusing with my camera more on the light part of the fog.In my camera bag
I am a beginner in photography and I usually have my phone that takes pretty decent pictures and then I proceed to edit them with the help of an application. I always bring with me my camera, Sony - DSC-HX400V.Feedback
The timing was important for me. I had to wait for the rain to stop and after that, I could see the clouds running down the mountain through the trees. And then, I took my chance. I tried to focus on the mist, that were my tactics.
