Behind The Lens

Location

In Cecil, WI. It’s a picture over Shawano Lake. We spend a lot of time on the lake as it’s near our home and we love to fish and kayak and ice fish.

Time

This was late afternoon we were driving home from camping up north and I yelled at my boyfriend to pull over because I had to take a picture of the beautiful sunset over the lake!

Lighting

I loved the contrast of the dark sky with the bright yellows/oranges left from the last little bit of sun.

Equipment

This picture was on my smartphone an iPhone 8 Plus. I didn’t have my camera along!

Inspiration

It was gorgeous and I knew I’d love it for years to come everytime I look at it. It’s so powerful and beautiful.

Editing

I blurred the shoreline slightly to add some suspense.

In my camera bag

I have a canon rebel with a few different lenses I’m still learning but I take a lot of pics with my phone as it’s handy!

Feedback

Keep your eyes peeled for gorgeous sunrises/sunsets at any time. God displays beautiful artwork if you pay attention!
