My first papaya from my tree that I rescued before the birds devoured it. Colorful and deliciously sweet!

Early in the morning I hear ratta-tat-tat contiuously and I know it's my resident lineated woodpecker, a large beautifu bird here Mexico.

This fuzzy 4” baby tarantula met me at my front door. What a greeting!
