This sunrise was an extra bonus - a gift - from mother Nature to us, for spending the night before in the tent, after shooting the Milky Way and the night sky.
At five o'clock in the morning, the sound of rain hitting our tents woke us up. In the next quarter the rain stopped and the sunrise started painting the wonderful cloud formations with all kind of colors. I took many different compositions that I had in mind from the previous day when the weather was not optimal and this is one of my favorites.
The place is in a beach opposite Gytheion called Selenitsa and the shipwreck is called "Dimitrios" and is there from the late '80s.
This is a bracketed image made from three frames and blended to preserve the tonality my eyes could see at the moment.
