Location
This photo was taken at a very famous place of Kutch district located in One of the states named Gujarat. Place is named Modhva and purely known for these beautiful flamings and other coastal birds.Time
This image was taken during evening hours. I must say driving for nearly 110 Kms from my hometown and upln reaching there seeing this beauties & clicking them in camera feels stunning! Have to match the sundown time hence reached the place well in advance as didn’t want to miss the chance!!!Lighting
The places amazes when you reach there. It was worth the wait for Sundown and sleeping on wet area where water level was less, Ya observed tide times as well prior leaving house! Sky clear climate was cool and it was a well spent evening with these birds.Equipment

Oh! Thats heart touching question, I have my nifty-fifty the Nikkor 50mm lens, 18-105mm, 55-300mm lens which I ordered from Dubai, one variable filter & lens shutter release remote since my Nikon D5100 supports infrared shutter release.Feedback
I suggest one should always check the weather prior approaching places for some kind of pre-visualised frame. Like i did before going to this place. Flamingos here are a little cooperative since a few hundred of the fishermen lives around. Try to keep an eye on the water levels since it increases with time if it’s high tide period & rest is your dedication! I remember my neck was paining after this shoo since I was lying on flats for quite long observing these flock of flamingos. Keep your self safe & you’ll surely get a desired shot!
