I created this landscape photo from Playalinda Beach 3 just before sunrise on May 15, 2019. I have not edited this sunrise photograph in any way. I was admiring how the sun was lighting up the clouds on the horizon. I had had high hopes of getting a large number of those shots everyone dreams of, you know, the bright sun on a cloudless horizon. I learned that clouds can actually add a large dimension to landscape photography. It can subdue the brightness and add a soft glow to all of the action of the waves.
