Behind The Lens

Location

Babcock State Park is a state park located along the New River Gorge on 4,127 acres wooded in Fayette County, West Virginia. The Glade Creek Grist Mill at Babcock State Park is a popular destination for nature and landscape photographers and artists capturing the beauty of this iconic setting.

Time

When I visited this places it was raining and there were plenty of fogs. I couldn't get a good picture. So I back again the next day. One of the best times of the day to take picture is early morning when there is less sunlight.

Lighting

When the sunlight is less or overcast, it would be the best time to get the photo.

Equipment

Camera: Canon EOS 6D, Lens: CANON 16 35 2.8 Tripod: ALTA PRO 263AB

Inspiration

This is a very iconic place in West Virginia. I love taking landscape photos and this is one of my favorite places.

Editing

The photo was processed in photoshop. I used luminosity masking to blend multi-exposure images.

In my camera bag

I always carry three different lenses along with my camera body and a bunch of filters.
