Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at wetland close to my house. I visit the place every morning, it doesn't cease to surprise me.

Time

I took this photo around 9 am. The wetland is very quiet, except for Canada Geese screaming at each other.

Lighting

It was a bit cloudy, which gave a blanket of soft light.

Equipment

I shot this photo handheld.

Inspiration

I love nature, especially wildlife. I like to study their behavior. One thing I have learned from birds, they extremely intelligent! They are also alert all the time!

Editing

My post processing is very limited, i try my best to get the shot right from the start. I adjust exposure, a 20 percent softening. That's pretty much it!

In my camera bag

My camera and lens setup, Canon 7d mk ii+Sigma 150150-600mm contemporary.

Feedback

Patience is the name of the game! Follow the direction of light to avoid the use of a flash. I understand sometimes it is difficult, but it is doable.
