My oldest watching the snow fall from our living room window.

This is a picture of our farm that I took miles away from where it is located. I had a great lens that I zoomed all the way in and snapped this shot.

My son with his first car show entry, his batmobile.

I was snapping pictures of her and she was extremely curious of what I was doing so she got up nice and close to my camera.

Purple lilac tree in my backyard. This was a few years ago and the last year that it looked this beautiful.

This little boy is my son. He is almost two months old and he is already getting used to me pointing a camera at him. As of right now, he is my model

These three tractors are my father and uncle's and they love them. They were all recently restored so we had to get a picture.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my living room window. It has great light , perfect for taking pictures with the natural light from outside shining through the window.

Time

I think it was probably around afternoon. I cant remember exactly but sometime around 10 am to 1 pm.

Lighting

I like natural light the best so I try to avoid heavy use of the flash. That's why I took this shot at my window where I could get as much natural light as possible.

Equipment

I have a Nikon d5100 , I did have a flash and a micro lens

Inspiration

These flowers were given to me by my husband for valentines day. I love to take pictures of flowers. They are one of my favorite things to take pictures of. And I love experimenting with different lighting and angles.

Editing

If I did anything, it was just to tweak the lighting . Adding a little bit more light is normally the only thing I like to play with lightroom. Otherwise just sharpening it up a bit .

In my camera bag

Normally just my camera and lens , my distance lens, my flash, and extra batteries.

Feedback

Be creative , take pictures you want to take and how you want to take them. Try different angles. Take multiple shots in different directions , with different lighting . Play with the focus.
