My friends and I are paddlers and we usually have early morning practices in the bay. one day everyone was late for practice so we decided to take out the paddle boards instead and have a small workout. We rode the waves for a bit on the reef then we went out past the reef to relax a little. Then by the time we got to calm water we were in the open ocean and even with our snorkel masks we couldn't see the ocean floor. One of the coolest feelings was knowing how deep it was and swimming in it anyways.
