FollowComposite. While the clouds snd sunshine were out, it was all too far out of frame. I also added the birds.

Location
I took this shot in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona! A popular hiking trail called Wave Cave. Which literally takes you to a cave in the shape of a wave.Time
This was golden hour for both sky and foreground.Lighting
Lighting is big. It can make or break a photo, over exposed and it’s just white blobs.. too dark and you risk no detail in the foreground.Equipment
Canon 80D EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USMInspiration
It’s my favorite formation in these mountains, and while the sun doesn’t quite set behind them like this, I still wanted to see how it could look by making a two shot composite.Editing
Oh yes, the sky was taken about 90 degrees left to where I was standing for the foreground. I replaced the sunless sky of the foreground shot with the shot of sun and clouds. Added some birds in for a little extra measure. In my camera bag
Camera, lens, extra SD cards, and tripod!Feedback
Don’t be afraid to experiment!! It’s half the fun!
