Behind The Lens

Location

My Sister had some tests at our local Hospital. The gorgeous flowers provided great back drops for my talented model, Snuggles.

Time

This photo was taken during he afternoon. Lighting wasn't good in the shadows. I don't have a lot of fancy equipment, so photo is a little grainy

Lighting

I would have experimented with flash for this photo, but it had quit working on this camera

Equipment

Taken with an old, beat up, Sony Cybershot DSC-H300

Inspiration

My little dog loves to pose for me. What better way to spend time waiting for someone. I always prefer being outside to reading a magazine in the lobby

Editing

I sharpened the picture a bit and darkened it to bring out the color. Adobe Photoshop

In my camera bag

I only use my camera. I have a tripod, but prefer to be able to have free movement of the camera for various angles

Feedback

If you have a patient subject, experiment with ISO instead of just using Auto.
