This was 10 am the morning on a mild wintersday in May 2019Lighting
no its was an open day cloudless with the sun shining bright. The angel I have were just perfect for the shotEquipment
I have used my 700D Canon camera, 150-600mm lens. No tripod or flash was usedInspiration
I was sitting and waiting for the heard to come down to drink and actually wanted to have a shot where they were together to get a shot of all the stripe patterns to show how confusing their stripes can get when these two adult Zebra try to protect their young one from a crocodile in the water. this was just an amazing experience to see how the wild protect their own. Amazing how the young obey and act on the adults warning signs. The interactions and love for each other made me more amazed. Zebra is one of my favorite animals to observe and can sit hours watching them and how they behave.Editing

Be patient. I have sit with this picture for about 2hours if not more and observe several other animals come to drink at the water hole. If I were not pasient I would have never got this shot at all
