☢ Chernobyl trip: Temporary takeover! Normal Cornwall - Wales landscapes will resume soon! ☢
During a thunderstorm and heavy downpour, our group ducked into Pripyat's abandoned fire station to take cover.
As I wandered the ruin on my own, I found this shaft of light pouring into a dark room. I thought to myself - "this just needs a subject situated in the light to complete the composition." With that, my friend, Joe, ambled into the room...
I asked him to step into the light for a photo, with no other instruction. He instinctively looked up to the light and I clicked the shutter (having preset the settings).
Fuji X-T2 (borrowed) | Lens at 27mm | ƒ-3.2 | 1-40 sec | ISO 5000 | Handheld (taken 7-5-2019)
