I took this photo in my hometown in Iowa. I was taking a cruise around in my car and had to pull over and take this photo. I am self taught and still have much to learn. Every photo I have posted has been taken with the camera from my phone. Hopefully one day I will have a real camera. Lol.Time
This was taken on a beautiful day in December a bit warmer than normal for an Iowa winter close to sunset and with a nice blanket covered field. My cruise around and about was to help ease my mind during some difficult times and reminding myself of the beauty that surrounds us every day that forget about. Taking pictures of nature helped ease my mind.Lighting
I just loved how the light was illuminating the clouds and the the reflection of the snow. And the trees just seemed to almost line up. Something inside me said I had to stop and capture this beautiful moment.Equipment
Just used the only camera I have and it is the camera from my phone. No flash was needed.Inspiration
I love driving or walking around town especially around the country side and near the Cedar river to help ease my mind. The sunlight, the clouds, the trees, and snow just was perfect and how I felt instant relaxation and peaceful watching the sun slowly going down. I couldn't resist my mind telling me that I must take a picture.Editing
I did some enhancements through the editing options on my phone. In my camera bag
Just my phone.Feedback
I'm still a work in process and have much to learn. I say if you feel like it's a moment that you must capture just start clicking using different angles and perspectives. Just play around with your settings until you feel you have what you think is an wonderful work of art.
