This photo was taken in Harpers Ferry WV. I’m a amateur photographer. This was one of my first pictures.Time
I believe it was taken in the early afternoon. I was out hiking through town and thought this would be an awesome shot!Lighting
I spent time waiting for the right light and came back to the location. Also one of the reasons I used black and white was because I didn’t much like the lighting hahaEquipment

Nikon BT500 and a few tri pods. Lens cleaner. I’m usually on the move quite a bit so gotta keep it light weight.Feedback
Honestly just InVision the picture in your head while walking and then pull your camera out. It’s mostly a gut feeling for me. I love raw photos best but you have to have patience with the sun and clouds.
