Behind The Lens

Location

I took image in Elliot Lake, Ontario. Near a fox den on Spine Road.

Time

The sun was starting to set which made for beautiful lighting.

Lighting

I loved the way the light was filtering through the trees.

Equipment

I used a Canon T5i with a 300mm kit lens. It was shot at 1/250 sec, f5, ISO 160.

Inspiration

I could spend hours watching the foxes here. This fix seemed to be guarding the den. I love how proud and regal it looks.

Editing

I did some basic editing in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

I usually bring a wide angle and zoom so I'm ready for close up wildlife or landscape.

Feedback

I think the key for me capturing this image was having patience to wait for the perfect composition and lighting.
