A land of parrots, the skies of Australia are commonly filled with these remarkable streaks of colour flashing across the sky in the manner of fireworks. Only better. In this encounter, I was privileged enough to meet a beautiful galah face to face as it stared me down from barely a metre away atop one of Western Australia's iconic Pinnacles. Certainly a moment to remember.
