This photo was taken in a living room duly lit with four light sources. I am only an enthusiastic photographer living in Rio de Janeiro.Time
The photo was taken in the evening of 26th January 2017, Saturday at 19:21. It is a photo from a group of hundreds of others.Lighting
I used a large square sofbox as a fill light high in the front of the subject to soft the skin of the female subject. The use of one beauty disk on the viewer´s right side as the main light was used to create the three-dimensional forms of the subject with the their highlights and shadows and a strip bank on the viewer´s left side behind the subject´s line was useful as a rim light. Finally, there is also a white round reflector low in front of the subject to reduce the shadows on the bottom side of the subject. Everything was duly balanced to give a soft dark scenario in order to bring misterious to the scene.Equipment
Nikon D600 with a Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/85 ZF.2. Also a large square softbox , one beaty disk, a strip bank and a white round reflector.Inspiration
The idea here was to show a powerful and sensual female gangster. A pose to show power, sensuality, attraction, malice, control are the basic ingredients together with props that regularly represent the stereotype of a mafia´s bad guy (or woman) such as, cigar, hat, sunglasses and so on.
