Last summer I had the opportunity to meet some of my family from Newfoundland who came to visit. They may have been hard to understand at first, but I quickly grew to love them and all their quirks. During their stay, we visited Niagara Falls, and went on the Maid of the Mist. I have been there countless times myself and have taken the little boat trip before. I have not however, seen the falls quite like how I did that day. Passing by the American side, I produced my Pentax K1000 from my poncho, and snapped this shot here. I’m not sure I can put into words what I see in this picture, but I can say that this is the image I am most proud of in my entire photography career.
