Always check local laws regarding piloting a drone and follow them. When I’m doubt, ask local law enforcement - don’t ruin it for other people! The reason why drones get banned is for being irresponsible and annoying - you’d be surprised how welcoming people can be to the idea of you just ask and have a game plan. I usually tell them what I am doing and for how long, on and out.
