Absolutely amazing colour and contrast, well done. If you don't mind me asking what lens did you use for this photo?

THIS!! 😍😍 This is exactly the picture that I’ve had in my mind for a few years now. I’ve tried to explain to people the way I see this picture of tulips in my mind and how I would do it but they all said they didn’t think it would turn out the way I see in my mind. And here it is! I just love this!! 😍

Location
I took this photo during a Monday off when I just took the camera and had a walk through my city, Krakow, Poland to enjoy the spring and sunny day. The tulips were near the Vistula River, which is a very nice area to have a walk and nice shots as well near the Wawel Castle from Krakow.Time
I remember I've been walking a lot that day as it was a beautiful sunny day of spring. Actually the exact time when the photo was taken around 15.30 on 21st of April, 2019. After some walking I have discovered an area with lovely bloomed tulips and stopped there for a while first to admire them and then taking some shots.Lighting
I do not actually remember anything about the light, but for sure it wasn't harsh sunlight, they were in a shadow. It was anyway a sunny day so I didn't have any problems with cloudy low light. Unfortunately it wasn't golden hour, as I might have created a different mood for sure, which might have turned quite interesting. But I got used to work with what I haveEquipment
This was shot on a Canon 200D with a Sigma 18-200 mm f3.5-6.3 DC lens, nothing else.Inspiration
Tulips are my favorite flowers and I was really happy I found these ones. And I wanted to take a shot to make them the stars, and within a different perspective. That's when I started to try different angles, positions and I was very happy with this result.Editing
The post-processing was quite light. I'm using Adobe Lightroom Classic, and I'm not editing my photos too much, just adding a bit of more colors and editing a bit the White balance, Shadows and Highlights. Not much post-processing from my side, I like to keep my photos as close to the reality as possible. In my camera bag
As photography is just my hobby and I'm doing it for relaxation, I only have my Canon 200D with a Sigma 18-200 mm f3.5-6.3 DC lens and a Canon 50 mm f1.8 and I'm switching the lenses depending what I want to take photos of. And of course I always have my phone with me, a Samsung Galaxy S10 which can take quite good shots, as I don't always have the camera with me and I don't want to lose any opportunity if there is something nice to shoot.Feedback
I think this depends from one person to another, why they are going out with the camera to take photos, just as a hobby or as a job. As I was saying before, for me it's a hobby, and I'm enjoying this time when I find something beautiful, colorful to shoot. And in those moments I like to stay and try different perspectives, angles. And mostly I'm trying to make the thing I'm shooting to be the star of the photo, as much as possible of course. But I think most important is to enjoy the moment. I wish you all great shots and nice moments too.
