This old lady is the typical mexican woman in the towns of the center of Mexico. She was selling her handmade fan to get some coins. This lovely old lady is a poor grandmother looking to do some business with the tourist in the little town of la Peña de Bernal. Seated in the stairs of the market, you can see the sadness in her white hair and wrinkled face and an old shawl to cover her of the cold air of the mountains. Still she did her best every day to earn a few pesos.
